Pigment Removal is a laser treatment that effectively and efficiently targets individual pigmented spots such as sun spots, age spots, and freckles.

The laser reduces or eliminates the appearance of unwanted pigment in the skin by using light to target the pigmented area and break it up. On impact it treats the aging effects of sun damage fading the pigmentation (sun spots, age spots and freckles) in the treated areas. The laser is attracted to the melanin in the skin which absorbs the light and is drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue. Once drawn to the surface, the pigmentation will dry and fall off the area treated.

Any pigment that was targeted will become darker after the treatment. The pigment will then create a micro-crust and slough away painlessly! You may experience some redness and swelling.
